Welcome to Julie’s Music Studio, clarinet and saxophone tuition based in North and West Vancouver and serving the lower mainland and beyond.

 

Here you will find information on private clarinet and saxophone lessons either at my studios in North Vancouver (Accent Music Studios) or online via Zoom, Facetime or Skype. You will also find details about workshops available for school and community bands and orchestras.

My name is Julie Begg and I have been performing professionally and teaching the clarinet and saxophone for over 30 years. I tutor clarinet, bass clarinet, alto clarinet plus soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones to students from all over the lower mainland, including North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond & Vancouver.

I am passionate about teaching music and enjoy teaching adult learners and elementary and secondary school students, from absolute beginners to advanced. Whether you are looking for regular weekly lessons, brush-ups or occasional drop-in lessons, I will design a programme to suit your needs.
 

For band directors, I am an experienced and prepared clinician and enjoy working with groups of clarinet and saxophone players focusing on general or specific areas of technique, concert band and chamber music.
